Good solid South Indian food whenever you are craving it. (I'm South Indian) Recommend getting their dosas (I usually get the ghee masala dosa with podi or the Mysore masala dosa). Their Thalis and sambar are also good! The Podi Kara Dosa is on the spicy side because the actual masala inside is spicy. The Milagaipodi is basically gunpowder podi added to a regular dosa but you can ask to make any a ghee dosa The portions here for the dosas are big, so I'd recommend sharing and then getting apps/sides for 2 people. The snacks like medu Vada and idli are on the smaller side with about 2 pieces per order. Only thing I wouldn't recommend is the idli special. I was expecting chopped up idli with podi on it but it was more of a chicken curry type sauce drenched over the idli and served with yogurt. Odd pairing but maybe it's popular in other states

Really really good food and super quick service. I've been here a bunch of times and everything is fantastic. My favorites are the mulgapodi dosa and Mysore masala dosa. The buttermilk is also amazing but a little spicy. Would definitely recommend.

Solid food, lots of people. Service was fast as well. Personally, I think more of the breads in the bread to sauce ratio would've made it perfect!

Finally got take out to try the chole bhatura and wow was it amazing. It's going to be my go to for Indian cravings now. Amazingly flavorful and HUGE portion. The only negative was that I placed a take out order for pick up and the restaurant called personally to say they'd make it when I came in so it wouldn't get rubbery and it would only take a couple of minutes. Unfortunately it took about 15 minutes after I arrived which was a bit long so next time I'd probably just ask to have it done anyways in advance. But otherwise, absolutely fabulous!

I liked how authentic Saravanaa Bhavan was! Came by for brunch on a Sunday around 10:30am and the restaurant was full. I ordered the Masala Dosa, which came with 3 flavorful chutneys and a lentil soup. We also tried the Onion Masala Dosa, which came with raw onions and the same potato mixture. The raw onions were a little too harsh for my taste so I wouldn't get that next time. Service was quick and efficient but very much no frills here. I liked how convenient the sink outside the bathroom was.

Came here on a Sunday night to have dinner, and it was busy! We got seated quickly at a table for two and placed our orders pretty quickly as well, because we knew that we definitely wanted to eat dosas. There is a good variety of dosas available, and it seems that this is what the restaurant is known for. It's pretty big and brightly lit inside; the environment is more so on the casual side, even though it is a sit-down place. We saw couples, groups of friends, and families. I appreciated that they have a convenient handwashing station, for those who prefer to eat with their hands like us. Our dosas came out pretty quickly. I would say it took about 10 minutes or so. I got the masala dosa, which was delicious! I also really liked the tomato based chutney and the (I think lentil based) dip in the small bowl. Paying the bill was also pretty easy, we just paid by handheld payment terminal. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you are craving dosas!

This place is awesome, the food is delicious and service is prompt...(almost too prompt, close to rushing sometimes with their turnover) but overall its a good place for south indian food. I personally enjoyed all the chutneys they serve with their dosa. The sambar is also very flavorful and delicious. The masala chai is also yummy as well. No complaints, aside from the occasionally rushed feeling but as always looking forward to the next visit here. Plentiful parking as well - but be mindful, it's on a steep incline/hill if anyone is differently abled its a strenuous from the parking lot to the door.
